Stayed tuned for the next ICO’s World Ophthalmology Roundtable on Leadership Development at the next World Ophthalmology Congress®.

World Ophthalmology Leaders Program

The ICO launched its World Ophthalmology Leaders by offering Leadership Beyond Borders, produced in collaboration with the All India Ophthalmological Society. The ICO conducts this program in collaboration with its member societies.

Young Ophthalmologists - Emerging Leaders

The ICO established a young ophthalmologist program in conjunction with supranational and member societies and offers courses and resources on leadership skills in cooperation with existing leadership development programs. The sessions are typically held during the WOC and other major international meetings.  An Emerging Leaders Initiative is conducted in collaboration with ICO Member Societies to work directly with them to establish leadership development opportunities that are not currently being offered.

Ophthalmic Educators

The ICO is committed to improving ophthalmic education by “teaching the teachers” – offering conferences, courses, curricula, and online resources to anyone involved in ophthalmic education.
